During 1989, the old stables and coach house within the grounds of the 15th Century farmhouse were renovated and extended to form four well equipped self-catering cottages. They stand alongside the paved driveway into the private car park. They all enjoy an open outlook over the lovely garden and beyond to the hills surrounding the Coly and Axe valleys.

The bathrooms are fully fitted with heater, shaver light and mirror, automatic extractor fan, sure tread bath with shower and bath side shower screen. Full electric cookers with extractor hoods, microwaves and built in refrigerators are provided. The kitchens are fitted with feature and concealed lighting and full electric heating using convectors. All of the cottages are fully double-glazed and insulated, providing all year round warmth

Electricity is included in the rental price. Each cottage is installed with a full size washer/dryer, sweeper, electric kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery for the number of guests, as indicated on the rental tariff. All equipment and furnishings meet or exceed the English Tourist Board standards for self-catering holiday cottages. All bed linen, towels, tea towels and tablecloths are supplied within the holiday cost.

Fresh bed linen is supplied weekly. Beds will be made up on arrival. Each cottage has one bedroom. The garden is approximately half an acre. Arched doors with brick quoins and exposed stonework have been retained where possible. The cottages, which are available throughout the year, are as follows:

These are 'upside-down' cottages with the lounge on the first floor to gain maximum benefit of the views across the valley. They each have one bedroom and a bed-settee, so would accommodate up to four people

BRAMBLE COTTAGE
This single storey cottage has large windows overlooking the garden, and is ideal for the elderly or partially disabled. The bedroom has twin beds.

BRIAR COTTAGE
This is similar to Bramble Cottage,
but the bedroom has a double bed.
